WHO ARE WE

At ARDA Foundation, we’re a team with deep roots in education, social entrepreneurship, and the non-governmental sector. We firmly believe that real development comes from empowering communities to participate in and shape their own futures.

OUR STORY

The journey of ARDA begins in response to the devastating crisis in Gaza that erupted after the war started on October 7, 2023.

The widespread media coverage put world’s attention into the Middle East. Then we saw that extreme even fanatic polarization of the global society. HUMANITY WENT UNHUMAN.

In a world that pressures you to choose sides,

WE CHOOSE PEOPLE OVER POLITICS, ACTION OVER PITY, AND HUMANITY OVER DIVISION.

We refuse to let human rights be just pretty words for charity. We know the truth: only by breaking the cycle of dependency can we restore hope, dignity, and lasting peace.

After the ceasefire in January 2025, the situation in Gaza remains critical:

• ● Over 1 million children need mental health and psycho-social support.
• ● 436,000 housing units—92% of which are either destroyed (160,000) or severely damaged (276,000).
• ● 1,875,000 people are in need of emergency shelter and essential household items.
• ● Around 658,000 students have no access to formal education, with only 25% of school-aged children benefiting from learning opportunities.
• ● 88% of school buildings require full reconstruction or major rehabilitation.

These numbers are not just statistics—they represent a generation at risk. The crisis goes far beyond academic gaps. Crime, long-term unemployment, donor dependency, and exploitation take deep root when we delay coordinated action. Every day we wait, an entire generation faces the danger of being trapped in perpetual crisis and hardship.

OUR APPROACH

We work hand-in-hand with local communities and coordinate with international partners to assess and outline the needs on the ground. Together, we map out a plan with sustainable solutions and work out all the details—how much time, money, partners, and logistics are required to make it happen.

Every campaign is presented to you with an active progress bar on our website, so you can see how things are moving in real time. Whenever possible,once we secure an initial amount, we kick-start the project immediately rather than waiting for full funding.

And don't worry - we keep you in the loop with regular reports in our news section that show exactly where your support is making an impact. Plus, if you have an idea for a campaign, you're more than welcome to share and discuss it with us. We're in this together, building something real, step by step.
